Dana left us much too soon. We will miss her princess attitude and the way she liked to snuggle and watch TV.  May her spirit live on in her children. Rest peacefully Dana and know that you are missed.

                The Auslets

On June 8, 2004 we picked up a very special cargo at Toronto International Airport. Our two little Aussie girls, Naomi, 12 weeks old and Nicole, 6 months old had arrived from Brisbane. They very quickly popped out of their crates, anointed Canadian soil and proclaimed Canada as home.  They have tried digging back to Australia on several occasions but have adjusted to their adopted country snow and all!!!

Here are some pictures of the girls after they arrived exploring their new home.....

Nicole at 4 months of age

Nicole finished her championship quickly from the Junior Puppy class with handler Jill Taylor. By doing so she became the first Australian bred springer to title in North America.

Nicki has a sweet gentle personality and loves to spend her days chasing butterflies like her dad. Both girls adapted readily to the snow and will stay out even in on the coldest days.

One of the original Fat Ladies Naomi shown here at 7 weeks of age. Naomi also finished her championship quickly from the puppy classes.

Naomi at one year old. Naomi reminds me of her grandmother Tosca. We can't wait for her to mature some more. Watch for her in the specials ring in the future.

We are very pleased with both girls. We feel that the Australian connection will add a whole new element to our breeding programme. There are some exciting times ahead with both Nicki and Naomi.
