Lately completes his American championship in 4 weekends with 4 majors!! Old Dominion Kennel Club April 24, 1999 Judge: Handled by Steve Dainard

Lately finishes 2001 as #2 ESS in Canada and ESSCC Show Springer of the Year
Shortly after Lately's BIS win an invitation came from Kaye McGhie from Fraelighte Kennels in Brisbane Australia for Lately to go to Australia for a year which later became two years. Due to the lengthy process to prepare for the trip Lately continued to be campaigned throughout 2002 in Canada with Jill Taylor. He finished 2002 as Canada's #1 ESS and # 9 Sporting Dog.
November 2002 Lately travels to Australia where he spends a month in quarantine at Eastern Creek in Sydney. He loved quarantine!!!!
Lately makes his Australian show debut by winning back to back BIS New Years Eve 2002 Judge: Noel Boddy Handled by Kaye McGhie
Lately and Kaye had an amazing 2 years in Australia. Lately finished with a career total of 43 BIS. He is the record holder for BIS for an Australian ESS. He completed his Grand Championship in a mere 9 months. He was #3 all Breeds in 2003 and despite not finishing 2004 he was #6 all breed and #3 sporting. Lately flew back home in November 2004 and competed with Kaye at the ESSFTA National in Georgia. We owe a special thank you to Kaye McGhie for all that she did for the "Doofer".
Lately was shown one last time in Florida in January 2005 at the AKC/Eukanuba Invitational where he represented Australia. He was shown by Trudy Golden and they almost stole the breed.
